From Princes Dock to Pacific Quay
This album shows the transformation of the area on the south bank of the River Clyde in Glasgow from a busy international dock area through a period of dereliction to a temporary Festival area in the summer of 1988 then to media and leisure area in the early years of the 21st Century.

The hotel stands on that part of Stobcross Quay that had been used by the Glasgow-based Anchor Line for their regular passenger and cargo ship sailings to India and the Mediterranean in the early 20th Century.
